My Priorities

Air Pollution

Poor air quality affects mental and physical health. Our lifestyles are putting increasingly harmful pressure on clean air. I believe that by providing the the right environment for businesses grow and thrive, it will find the innovative solutions we need to improve air quality.

Tackling Youth Crime

Youth crime has increased making our streets less safe and our children at higher risk. We must increase visible policing and provide more youth services so that our children have somewhere safe to go. As gangs become ever-more insidious in how they groom our young people from all backgrounds, we must work harder to educate them of the dangers of gangs and provide the services and facilities to make sure they are safe.

Affordable Housing

Being able to get on to the property ladder is incredibly important and building enough affordable housing and providing the right assistance for first time buyers is essential. There are many young people, like me, who have grown up in Chelmsford but are priced out of the housing market here. I welcome more developments and initiatives that help Chelmsford's next generation on to the property ladder locally.

Mental Health

Parity of esteem is incredibly important. We must view mental health and physical health as equally important. With early interventions and quick response.

High Streets

Moulsham Street and our City Centre were thriving a bustling with high street businesses. Bond Street has presented challenges as much as opportunities and I am keen to build a brand that celebrates the independent businesses of Chelmsford and shows-off the unique characteristics of Chelmsford.

Raising Standards in School

Every child, no matter their background, should be given the best start in life with quality education. Investing in education, is an investment in our future generations.
